Pairing Instructions

  1. Turn off both the controller and the bot.
  2. Insert the HM10 Bluetooth module into the 4-pin header on the top of the controller, making sure to match the TX, RX, VCC, and GND pin labels on both devices.
  3. Turn on the controller.
  4. After 5-10 seconds, the LED on the controller should blink purple.
  5. Turn off the controller.
  6. Remove the HM10 from the controller and plug it into the bot.
  7. Turn on both the controller and the bot. After about 10-20 seconds, the light on the controller should turn blue, and the red light on the HM10 should be solid (not blinking).

At this point, the controller and bot should be communicating with each other, and the bot should be drivable. Note that you'll only have to pair a controller and HM10 module once, they'll stay connected forever (even through power cycles) until the controller is re-paired with a different HM10 module.
